He spent the previous 18 years as the Head Golf Professional at Thornapple Pointe Golf Club, located here in Grand Rapids. A Ferris State University graduate, He has been playing golf since the age of 5 and has developed and refined his teaching style through a life spent in the golf industry. His teaching philosophy is pretty simple. He doesn't think there is a universal way to swing the club. Rather, everyone has a unique way to swing the club and work with the strengths of the individual to enhance their golf game. His joy of teaching is evident and he really enjoys taking golfers to a new level.
