The Country Club of Mount Dora is a public golf course located in the rolling hills of the Lake County golf community in Lake County, Florida, only 50 minutes northwest of downtown Orlando. Adding to the overall playing experience and beauty of this picturesque Lake County golf course, water was built into its design by the Clifton, Ezell & Clifton design team in 1991, and it comes into play on 16 holes. The raised greens are guarded by strategically placed sand traps and water, and offer a challenging target for both the accomplished player and the recreational golfer alike. This course is an important part of the Lake County golf community.
