Is it worth paying for golf lessons?

Yes, for most golfers structured lessons speed up progress, correct bad habits early, and improve consistency. Beginners especially benefit since proper fundamentals learned early prevent harder-to-fix mistakes later, making the investment worthwhile for long-term enjoyment and performance.

How many golf lessons should a beginner get?

Many instructors recommend starting with 3-5 lessons to build core fundamentals like grip, stance, and swing basics. Continued periodic lessons help reinforce progress, though the right number varies based on individual goals, practice time, and learning pace.

Where to get golf lessons in NYC?

Options include public courses in the outer boroughs, indoor simulator studios in Manhattan, and private coaching facilities. Choice depends on budget and preference for outdoor practice versus year-round indoor technology-assisted instruction.
