Is it worth paying for golf lessons?

Yes, for most golfers—especially beginners and those plateauing—lessons speed up improvement by correcting fundamentals early and preventing bad habits that are harder to fix later.

How many golf lessons should a beginner get?

Most instructors suggest starting with 3–5 lessons to build a solid grip, stance, and swing foundation, then continuing periodically as skills develop and new issues arise.
