O.J. Amaya, a Class A PGA Professional, has coached golf in the San Diego area since 1992. Over the course of his career, O.J. has developed a passion for, and become an expert in, teaching golf to young children (ages 6-12). Utilizing the US Kids Golf Player Pathway as a framework, O.J. has cultivated an extremely successful Junior Golf Academy. He is a US Kids Golf Top 50 Master Kids Coach, is TPI Certified Level 1, Junior Level 2 & Golf Level 3, a Golfing Machine Authorized Instructor and joins one of an elite team of Master Clubfitters™ for Henry-Griffitts, Inc. In 2022, O.J. was selected as the PGA Southern California Section, San Diego Chapter, Teacher & Coach of the Year.
