Is it worth paying for golf lessons?

Yes, for most golfers. Professional instruction helps correct swing flaws faster, build proper fundamentals, and prevent bad habits that are harder to fix later, making practice time more effective and often accelerating overall improvement.

Where is the best place to get golf lessons?

The best options are typically local driving ranges, municipal courses, or golf academies with certified PGA professionals. Many offer trial lessons, allowing you to compare teaching styles and facilities before committing to a package.
